Claire screeched down the road with disconcerting speed, her car a little black comet on the road. I had the "privilege" of riding shotgun on the hour and a half drive to Orange County Skydiving and I was becoming increasingly concerned that we might not make it there in one piece. Claire has the dangerous combination of being very impatient to get where she's going and being almost incapable of judging the speed at which other vehicles are moving. But, as a group of college students with no form of transportation, you have to take what you can get.

Look into the mirror there. What do you see? Stand tall and be proud! Pride is the birthright of the wizard, for it is he who wields true Power. Merchants may control coin, kings may control armies, and churchmen may hold the hearts of Man, but it is we, the Magi, that have tasted the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. And we are meant for greater things.

To Know, to Will, to Dare, to Keep Silent
- The Four Pillars of Magic, Creed of the Order of Pymander.
Sometimes called the "Witch's Pyramid," this phrase is said to be carved inside the Great Sphinx of Giza. Each part of the Order's Creed has three parts, the outer meaning, the inner meaning, and the secret meaning.
TO KNOW
The outer meaning is very simple. A wizard must gather material knowledge of his own magic and world. He must know his spells, rituals, and correspondences. After all, the word "wizard" derives from the word "wise."
The inner meaning refers to the knowledge of the metaphysi
Wolf-man
This form is the classic half-wolf, half-man hybrid. It has the head of a wolf, the stature of a man, and the tail and legs of a wolf. Possesses supernatural strength, speed, and stamina. Also has a healing factor that enables them to recover from wounds extremely quickly.
Dire-Wolf
Ten feet tall at the shoulder, this form looks like a gigantic wolf, but more muscular and monstrous. Blinding fast and monumentally strong, the dire wolf is truly a being of titanic power. The Dire-Wolf's fur is like iron and can protect it from almost any weapon or hostile magic. Silve

The wolf-man, the lycanthrope, the Loup-Garoux. These all refer to the same creature: the werewolf. When a human soul is fused with that of a spirit of a beast, he becomes a werewolf. This spirit is not just any beast, but a primordial spirit drawn from the ancient forests of the Otherworld, the hunter incarnate.
A werewolf is usually created at birth, when the spirit of a human being is most capable to meld with another. If one or more of the parents of a child is a werewolf, the child's soul has a much higher chance of attracting the attention of this Beast s

Qualities of an Order Wizard
- Increased Lifespan: The magical power coursing through a wizard's blood can extend his lifespan threefold, possibly more depending on each wizard's magical potency.
- The Witchsight: A wizard can attune his vision to see the ebb and flow of magical energy around him.
- Magic: A wizard is defined by the magic he wields. The elemental powers of creation are his to command. He can summon and bind spirits, mold the minds of others to his whim, and bring his wrath down upon his foes in a tempest of flame. The fabric of creation itself is shaped by his Will.

Wizards must be creatures of rigorous discipline. Magic is the mightiest tower, the headiest draught, and the most dangerous weapon. One does not entrust a weak-willed fool with such Power and rarely does one have the opportunity to repent for doing so.
A wizard must make his own reality through the force of his own Will. Reality is clay and only through supreme precision and the greatest possible understanding, not merely raw Power, can one claim the right to sculpt.

Happy New Years!
I'm still chugging along here in DC, but here's two new pieces of "Dreameater"! I have the rest of it written out, but not typed, so I'll get right on that.
8th Quarter AiW go!
I've finally chosen my focus of 3D animation, but I'm having a lot of fun in creative writing as well. I really want to expand on this world I've come up with in the Order of Pymander section of my gallery.
